This was the first color I got from Butter London and it remains one of my favorites. I would categorize this color as a neutral and I found that I can wear it with almost anything. Very versatile.
A walk on the mild side

This lacquer appears sedate, but it is really quite lovely. I wear a lot of BL blues and greens, so at first glance, I didn't think this was my thing. But it turns out to be so very right once it's on my nails I keep wearing it again and again. Aston, you're no Thames, but I like you just fine the way you are.

A bit more rosy than the photo with a hint of shimmer. Gorgeous lacquer.
Gorgeous, darker "nude" for all

Aston is easily overlooked, but it's worth a second glance. This bronzey, terracotta neutral belongs with All Hail The Queen & Yummy Mummy in the panthéon of "beautiful on every skin tone" BL nudes. Luckily, Nordstrom had an Aston sampler, and I had *one* remaining nail to swatch... I was stunned! I have very pale, glow-in-the-dark Caucasian skin, and it was beautiful on me. Aston is a warm "nude, " like a flash of a summer tan for your nails, with an incredibly, super-subtle hint of miniscule silver sparkle. I was oohing & aahing, and the saleswoman so admired it on me, that she tried it, too. It was lovely on her medium toned black skin - like an AHTQ & YM holy grail for dark complexions. Needless to say, she fell in love & grabbed a bottle to purchase, too. Don't overlook Aston - it is a truly unique, beautiful variation on an elegant "nude" nail - and gorgeous on all skin tones.

The formula is flawless, and the effect is a jaw dropingly sexy neutral. People will grasp and grab my hand, as if I was wearing a 6 karat diamond ring. Very long lasting, too.
