HEADQUARTERS - Seattle

Freelance Sales
Job Summary:
Responsible for suggestive selling of butter LONDON's product range through excellent communication and relationship building skills. Interact with customers to create brand awareness.

Essential Job Functions:
-Knowledgeable about the butter LONDON product range and history of the brand.
-Suggestive selling by introducing butter LONDON to existing customers and new customers.
-Maintain merchandising standards within retail partnered accounts.
-Set up butter LONDON displays to schematic.
-Create brand awareness by partnering with surrounding counters and beauty advisors.
-Partner with butter LONDON Account Executives to maintain inventory levels.
-Abide by retailer and butter LONDON dress codes while having a personal sense of fashion and style.
-Recap Account Executive after visit (sales, space & location, pictures, inventory levels, discontinued items in assortment).

Experience:
-Minimum of 2 years retail sales experience, preferably in the beauty industry.
-Presentation and training skills required.

SEA-TAC AIRPORT – NAIL SALON

NAIL TECHNICIAN
Currently we are looking for mates with evening and weekend availability only.
- 1 years’ experience as a licensed Nail Technician/Cosmetologist.
- Experience in customer service/sales with exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Ability to meet all State Board regulations for cleanliness and sanitation.
- Ability to pass Port of Seattle security and background checks (no felonies).
- High School diploma or equivalent required.

DISTRIBUTION CENTER – Seattle 

Production Supervisor
Job Summary: The Distribution Center Production Supervisor is responsible for managing production operations to ensure quality, service, productivity, accuracy and on time delivery of completed work. This position oversees, makes decisions, and ensures on hand inventory of created items are produced and delivered to Picking and Packing locations in the required time frame necessary to meet customer demands.

Essential Job Functions:
- Responsible for completing required work orders in a timely manner.
- Work with Inventory Planning Manager to ensure required items for production are at the DC by the required time frame necessary to complete work orders.
- Work with Inventory Planning Manager and Sales Account Coordinator/Sales team to create production calendar to ensure production work load in conjunction with required labor hours needed are consistent with meeting required deadlines.
- Work with Product Development to ensure all required components received into our DC are approved and meet bL standards.
- Work with DC Inventory Supervisor to ensure products created are available for sale in NetSuite and/or allocated to the correct warehouse or customer as required.
- Ensure the Bill of Materials is created in NetSuite and correct for all kit assemblies prior to starting builds.
- Work with Inventory Supervisor to ensure the necessary balance of required labor meets business demands.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Train Production Team in work order specific processing protocol.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required for internal and external customers.
- Complete associate reviews, coaching and corrective action as required.
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to problem solve, maintain flexibility and follow through as required.
- Maintain documentation and records on direct reports, production procedures and customer work orders.
- Facilitate and implement production process improvements and train associates.
- Respond to Account Executives, DC team members, Product Development personnel, Inventory personnel and business partners in a timely manner regarding production of our products.
- Responsible for tracking and recording all applicable production items created in NetSuite and reporting production counts, product needs and progress to Inventory Supervisor.
- Prepare and submit status reports as required.
- Oversee the maintenance of all production related records.
- Manage the Production Department through delegation of responsibilities and hold direct reports accountable for actions.
- Develop associates to position for growth opportunities.
- Recognize, reward and reprimand team members as required.
- Work with DC Leadership Team and attain general knowledge of all departmental operations to act as back up in other departments when required.
- Manage all production department processes to insure accuracy, quality and on time delivery to Picking and Packing locations.
- Ensure associates are meeting safety and housekeeping requirements through training, creating awareness, educating and hands on application.
- Provide process improvement ideas and feedback to DC leadership team for testing and approval.
- Train associates in approved process improvements.
- Set an example to the team through respect, professionalism, dedication, hard work, attendance, time management, communication and proactive attitude.
- Work with DC leadership team to ensure best practices are maintained including but not limited to morale, recognition, coaching and corrective action.
- Must understand and comply with all safety rules, confidentiality practices, and company policies of butter LONDON.
- Available to work all shifts including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Other duties as assigned.

Experience:
- 2 years’ experience working in a supervisory role in a distribution center environment.
- Experience in written/oral communication required.
- Must be able to take available information and make informed decisions.
- Computer experience in NetSuite, Excel, Word preferred.

Education/Licenses/Certificates:
- High School diploma.

Physical Demands:
- This work requires sitting, bending, squatting, reaching and standing for long intervals.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds is required.

Work Environment:
- Variable temperatures – hot, cold.
- Variable elements – dusty, dry, wet.
- Variable equipment and products used – computers, pallet jacks, fork lifts, knives, gloves, hazardous materials.


Shipping Clerk
Job Summary: The Shipping Clerk is responsible for daily shipping orders, paperwork preparation, data entry, supply ordering, and customer service contact with the appropriate group regarding shipping. Ability to adhere to inventory practices, procedures, and assist with special projects as needed.

Essential Job Functions:
- Ensure all shipments are accurate and timely. Reports any discrepancies to the Shipping Supervisor.
- Assist in the assembly of orders and safely shipping products to customers.
- Prepare paperwork for Domestic and International shipments including: commercial invoices, declaration of dangerous goods, NAFTA certificates, etc.
- Maintain necessary documentation and forward to the appropriate groups as directed on a daily basis.
- Propose alternative approaches for shipping to ensure compliance and reduce costs.
- Inspect each shipment for proper labeling, marking and paperwork.
- Contact freight carriers for pick-up.
- Contact appropriate groups regarding any shipment delays or requested information.
- Be familiar with standard procedures and retailer routing guides for packaging. Weight dimensions and pallets.
- Perform visual inspection of products being shipped.
- Ability to organize daily work schedule.
- Assist in gathering/compiling data for the development of new and improved warehouse handling methods.
- Must have sensory capabilities to avoid accidents as warehouse environment may involve pallet jack equipment.
- Must understand and comply with all safety rules, confidentiality practices, and company policies of butter LONDON.
- Available to work all shifts including weekends, evenings, and holidays. Overtime as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Experience:
- 1-2 year’s progressive experience in fast paced distribution/logistics environment.
- International/dangerous goods shipping experience required.
- Math skills, accuracy, computer abilities, record keeping, and good oral/written communication skills are required.
- Well organized, attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to think logically, create solutions and make informed decisions.
- Self-motivated, results driven, and capable of multi-tasking.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with fellow associates and vendors.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel is required.
- Basic understanding of UPS WorldShip and Fedex Ship Manager softwares are preferred.
- Ability to read and comprehend routing guides is preferred.

Education/Licenses/Certificates:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- HAZMAT certification preferred but not required.

Physical Demands:
- This work requires sitting, bending, and standing for long intervals.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds is required.
- Ability to reach shelving.
- Ability to operate pallet jack.

Work Environment:
- Warehouse environment with variable temperatures.
- Pallet jack equipment.
- Battery and/or a manually operated power lift stacker.
