Just a littleee colour…

Starting off strong with colourful French tips, this manicure style was seen at the glamorous Oscar De La Renta and Alice + Olivia Show. Coloured French tips are a fun way to add some colour to your nails as we transition into the Fall season. If you are hesitant about bright colours but want to switch up your regular manicure, coloured French tips are the way to go.

To achieve this look, start with our Horse Power Nail Rescue Base Coat to help restore and rescue damaged, weak nails. Next, apply one to two layers of Sheer Wisdom Tinted Nail Moisturizer in the colour that best compliments your skin tone. From there use a small nail brush to carefully apply your chosen nail lacquer colour to the tips of your fingernails. We suggest using Molly Coddled Patent Shine 10X Nail Lacquer or Fruit Machine Patent Shine 10X Nail Lacquer to add a fun pop of colour to your nails. Finish with a final coat of Hardwear Shine UV Top Coat and voila! On trend colourful French tips perfect for the transition to cooler weather.

Perfectly Bare

Because fashion week is known for eccentric styles rocking down the runway, it is no surprise that we saw nude nails during this year’s season. Neutrals are a safe way to ensure that your nails will not clash with whatever outfit you may have on, which is why nude is a popular colour season after season. We have seen neutral style nails at both the Veronica Beard and Jason Wu shows, as well as on Kim Kardashian and Kendall Jenner.

To achieve the neutral nail look, start with our Horse Power Nail Rescue Base Coat to promote healthy nails. Next, apply one to two coats of Yummy Mummy Patent Shine 10X Nail Lacquer for a cool beige or Steady On! Patent Shine 10X Nail Lacquer for a cool nude. Finish off the look with a final coat of Hardwear Shine UV Top Coat to leave your nails with a brilliant high shine.

Tangerine Daydream

We have been seeing *a lot* of tangerine styles on the runway and we are definitely not mad about it. This fun colour has been seen in clothing, makeup and you guessed it—nails. New York Fashion Week has decided we are transitioning into Fall with tangerine orange this year and we cannot help but agree.

To have your own juicy tangerine nails, start with our Horse Power Nail Rescue Base Coat, which acts as a protective primer that leaves your nails healthier-looking and prepped for an impeccable manicure that’s long lasting. Next, apply one to two coats of Pop Orange Patent Shine Nail Lacquer. Complete the look with a final coat of Hardwear Shine UV Top Coat to help prevent nail colour fading.

Black is Back, Baby

Not that black ever left the fashion world, but black nails have made a popular appearance this week. Black nails add a layer of mystery to any fashion look, and with October right around the corner black nails will definitely be a go to. Whether you want a classic all black look or black with silver chrome accents as seen at Rebecca Minkoff, the possibilities are endless.

To have mysterious black nails, start with our Horse Power Nail Rescue Base Coat to prep nails. Next, apply one to two coats of Union Jack Black Patent Shine 10X Nail Lacquer. Complete the dark, moody look with a final coat of Hardwear Shine UV Top Coat to help extend the life of your manicure.

Blue Haze

Sarah Jessica Parker was wearing navy nail polish, so we are wearing navy nail polish. Right? Blue has been a heavy hitting colour this fashion week as we are seeing dramatic baby blue eyeshadow and elegant blue fashion all week. As a Pantone predicted colour for Fall, blue is here to stay.

To have blue daydream nails, start with our good-for-nails Horse Power Nail Rescue Base Coat. Then go in with one to two layers of Waterloo Blue Patent Shine 10X Nail Lacquer for a soft cornflower blue, or use one to two layers of Brolly Patent Shine 10X Nail Lacquer for a smoky navy look. Complete the blue look with a final coat of Hardwear Shine UV Top Coat to help prevent nail polish chipping.
