Worried about getting rid of cuticles? Well, don’t be. Clipping can cause infection if you cut too deep. We’ve all been there–and it hurts. Here’s our step-by-step, foolproof DIY mani system that we think you’ll fall in love with.
Step 1: Apply Melt Away Cuticle Exfoliator to each cuticle. While you wait for the product to soak in, file and shape your nails. (Have you seen our new nail file & buffer with our wallpaper? It’s a handbag must-have.)
Step 2: Gently push back cuticles with a cuticle pusher or your thumbnail, then remove residue with a Scrubbers 2-in-1 Prep & Remover Wipe. Apply one coat of Nail Foundation Priming Basecoat to each nail and let dry.
Step 3: Apply 2 layers of your favorite lacquer, letting each coat dry in between.
Step 4: Apply a coat of Hardwear Shine UV Topcoat, wait 2 minutes and speed up drying time with P.D. Quick Dry Drops—add 1-2 drops to each nail.
Step 5: Once your nails are dry, perfect your mani and keep your cuticles in top shape with QuickFix Moisturizing Cuticle Balm.
